Winter Dragon

Winter Dragon is acrylic on turkey feather. This chilly dragon has a faceted icy topaz for a treasure as he stands in snow in front of snow covered trees. I chose the veneered frame for its frosty weathered wood pattern, which matches the theme of the background trees. There are touches of iridescence in the paint which don't show in the scan or photo. The frame measures 5x7 inches on the inside edge.
